- A team of local TV reporters are following a squad of firemen on night duty. The footage is completely live and their task is to make show about on the life of these professionals who work while we are sleeping. The first job of the night is to rescue an old lady who is trapped inside her apartment but the routine rescue soon takes a sinister turn. Something evil is spreading throughout the building, out of control. Trapped inside, the firemen and the TV crew have to confront an unknown and lethal horror. Now, the only thing that matters is hiding, surviving and trying desperately to escape. They must keep on recording. No matter what happens. Until the very last moment.

Heart Stopping Tension - [Rec] review by ah
Rented this not knowing what to expect. What I got was a toe clenching white knuckle ride of unrelenting tension.
The slowish start eases you in gently and is paced to perfection. The action, when it comes is hurled at you like an RPG. The sense of claustrophobia and confusion reaches out to the viewer and you find yourself feeling as trapped and despairing as the people on the screen. The atmosphere created by the movie seeps into your psyche and don't be holding a hot drink while watching as there are several jump out of your skin moments. This is certainly one of the best movies of this type and as I have immediately bumped the sequel up my order list I do not hesitate to recommend this to you.

Hit Stop - [Rec] review by CP Customer
.Rec is short and sweet, using the Blair Witch format to some success and unlike the recent Romero film does not seem overly long. However I didn't really enjoy this documentary shaky-style-cam horror. I've seen it done before and this feels like only the first half of a feature film, but least its better than Cloverfield!

Very good ,very entertaining Original version of the American remake 'Quarantine'.
Unlike the US remake This one runs straight into 'REC 2' ,from where this one finishes,The American 'Quarantine' took a very different direction ending up on a Plane .
Great use of hand held cameras,one of the Best versions of this genre .
Undead outbreak in an apartment block becomes a Prison and Blood Spattered War Zone.Can anyone survive the night ?
and what is it that has Infected the residents?
Well worth seeing more than once .and try to see REC 2 soon after as they fit end to end perfectly as one long movie.
